For the safety of the groomer and your pet, Walker's Canine Care requires that you disclose (when booking) if your dog exhibits any difficult or aggressive behaviour.
No liability will be accepted by Walker's Canine Care if any injury is caused by difficult or aggressive behaviour of your pet.
No liability will be accepted by Walker's Canine Care when any health issue is uncovered or aggravated by any part of the grooming process. We will endeavour to notify you of anything we discover during the groom.
An additional cost will be incurred for any dogs that require knot or matted coat removal. This incurs additional costs because it is a time-consuming process requiring specific expertise (so as not to injure the animal and it can also blunts equipment.) Any additional products used in knot removal will be added to the final amount.
Flea treatments incur an additional cost as not only do the dogs have to sit in the flea shampoo for 10-15 minutes to kill fleas, we also have to fumigate the whole salon to prevent fleas from settling or spreading. This means later appointments will be affected and rescheduled. £100 charge.
We do not express anal glands.
All clients must fill out, sign and date a record card and agree to the disclaimer which confirms all terms and conditions have been read and understood.
Please make sure all dogs are well walked and given ample opportunity to toilet before coming to their grooming appointment.
Top-ups for Teeth Cleaning must be carried out within 12 weeks of the previous appointment.
We reserve the right to take and use pictures of your pet for social media, advertising and education. If you do not wish pictures of your pet to be used for these purposes, you must notify us at the time of your appointment.
Should accident or injury occur, we will take your dog straight to the local vet. Lanes @ Cottom.
Please do not turn up early to collect your pet as this can cause excessive excitement. If the groom is unfinished it will make it extremely difficult for me to complete. I will message you once your pet is ready.
Please do not park in front of my neighbours drives/houses - feel free to park on my drive if this is available or directly in front of my house.
Cancellation policy will be sent over once booking is complete.
